Lifetime Achievement 

• Nominees must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in the industry.

• The nominee's associated company must have been an active UMAPP member for 5+ years. 

• The individuals chosen for this award have been long-standing members of UMAPP and have demonstrated consistent, meaningful contributions to the Association over the years. Their deep involvement has helped shape and strengthen our organization by contributing to its growth, fostering connections within the community, and supporting programs that benefit all members. 
  
  

• These individuals have volunteered their time, shared their expertise, and consistently shown up to move our mission forward making a lasting impact that goes beyond their own businesses and uplifts the entire UMAPP network as well as the industry community.  Previous Winners.

Hall of Fame

UMAPP Hall of Fame Award is given to a person that has achieved outstanding honors within the industry and shown strong dedication within the UMAPP Regional Association for their contributions.  This award will recognize a maximum of one winner. The ideal candidate: 

• Has made significant and notable contributions to UMAPP. 
  
  
• Has made significant and notable contributions to the promotional products industry and to his or her community. 
  
  
• Must have served as a UMAPP board director, Executive Board Member, or committee member. Past or current involvement as a volunteer in UMAPP is of primary importance. 
  
  
• Cannot be a current member of the UMAPP Board of Directors or the Awards Committee. 
  
  
• Must be off the Board for three full years before being eligible as a Hall of Fame nominee. The waiting period is reduced to one full year if the nominee served in a Board-appointed position filling a Board vacancy, or an at-large position. 
  
  
• Must be or have been in the promotional products industry for 20+ years. May be living, retired, or deceased.

Super Star Award

To recognize a person within a company who has proven to be invaluable and consistently goes above and beyond what is expected.  These people are often invisible to the industry outside of the company and UMAPP would like to give member companies an opportunity to show support for these heroes.  

The importance of recognizing our internal superstars cannot be overstated. These individuals bring energy, dedication, and excellence to everything they do, and their impact is felt by all who work with them.  It’s this recognition that fosters a culture of appreciation and encouragement, inspiring others to continue striving for greatness. 

Examples could include someone in the support staff area, customer service, accounting, factory, etc.  This award will recognize up to three outstanding individuals.

Volunteer of the Year Award

This award has been established to honor up to three individuals each year, not exclusively for their volunteer work within the UMAPP community, but more broadly for their exceptional commitment to donating time, talents, and skills to enhance both their company and the promotional products industry as a whole. The recipients will stand out for surpassing conventional volunteerism and exceeding expectations.  This award may recognize one individual in each of the categories below:

• Distributor
• Supplier
• Service Provider/Association
