Scholarships

Collegiate and CAS/MAS

Two separate programs and both provide important education

Collegiate Scholarships

UMAPP Partners with PPEF for Collegiate Scholarships  UMAPP is offering a $1,000 collegiate scholarship through a competitive application process to all staff of UMAPP member companies and their children.

This program replaces the previous application process through Scholarship America.

Why PPEF?  The Promotional Products Education Foundation is an industry-based educational, charitable, and nonprofit organization.   PPEF awards college scholarships to students who have a parent working in the promotional products industry or who are working for a company in the industry.

Since 1989, PPEF has awarded $1,942,000 in college scholarships to 1,113 students.

UMAPP is always thinking of ways to maximize member benefits and to manage the best financial decisions.  Moving to PPEF to offer collegiate scholarships to our members will provide excellent opportunities for students, yet also allow UMAPP to direct funds into other areas that are needed by our members.

The 2020 Collegiate Scholarship Applications are closed. Check back here in January for the 2021-2022 academic year application.

  • High school seniors should complete the 4-year application (which will qualify them as well for the UMAPP one-year, $1,000 scholarship).
  • Current college students should complete the one-year application (and choose "UMAPP" as their regional when prompted).

CAS/MAS Scholarships

New in 2020, this program has been revamped and now consists of three, $500 scholarships available to staff of UMAPP member companies.  Recipients are chosen by a separate UMAPP committee who reviews each application and awards the scholarships based on need and professional development goals.

The scholarships may be used for any professional development that earns CEUs (continuing education credits).  Suggestions include PPAI educational events and webinars.
