Collegiate and CAS/MAS
Two separate programs and both provide important education
UMAPP Partners with PPEF for Collegiate Scholarships UMAPP is offering a $1,000 collegiate scholarship through a competitive application process to all staff of UMAPP member companies and their children.
Why PPEF? The Promotional Products Education Foundation is an industry-based educational, charitable, and nonprofit organization. PPEF awards college scholarships to students who have a parent working in the promotional products industry or who are working for a company in the industry.
Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF; www.ppef.us), is pleased to announce that the 2021 PPEF scholarship program is now taking applications for the 2021-2022 school year with $278,750 in scholarships available. Since its inception in 1989, PPEF has awarded over $2.4 million in financial assistance.
Funded by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) and donations from the promotional products industry, the scholarship program enables youth and professionals to continue their education on a collegiate level. The Association and industry patrons have a long-standing commitment of service to the promotional products industry and this fund supports those who demonstrate the same commitment.
“PPEF awarded 160 scholarships in 2020. In setting the 2021 budget, the PPEF Board of Trustees wanted to keep the same level of commitment to the industry and its families. We’re expecting 2021 to be a tough fundraising environment, but PPEF will award 160 scholarships, valued at $278,750, for the 2021-2022 school year,” said Sara Besly, PPEF Executive Director.
UMAPP is always thinking of ways to maximize member benefits and to manage the best financial decisions. Moving to PPEF to offer collegiate scholarships to our members will provide excellent opportunities for students, yet also allow UMAPP to direct funds into other areas that are needed by our members.
