New Member Application

UMAPP is a 501(C)(6) nonprofit trade association whose members are COMPANIES in the promotional products industry.   Staff of UMAPP member companies can participate as members in all of UMAPP's events and benefits.   

A current PPAI, SAGE, or ASI number automatically qualifies a company for membership in UMAPP.   If the applying company does not have an ASI, PPAI, or SAGE number, then be prepared to provide 5 purchase orders or invoices from different industry companies that do have an ASI, PPAI, or SAGE number.  This is a requirement before membership can be approved.   



Membership Application

  • The membership period is January - December

  • Dues for companies joining April - October will be automatically prorated by the online application (Example:  Distributor dues for employees 1-3 is $125.00.  If a company joins in June, the pro rated amount would be approximately $92). 

  • Companies who join in November-December will have a membership period through December of the following year for the same dues price (14 months of membership for the cost of 12 months).  

  • Dues, contributions, or gifts to UMAPP are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but may be deductible as a business expense.
